John has been a Club Professional for over 25 years and is a member of the PGA of America. John currently is the Director of Golf at the highly rated Wine Valley Golf Club. Before that John was the Director of Golf at Walla Walla Country Club where he conceived the idea to build a much-needed championship public course in Walla Walla. Wine Valley was open for play in the spring of 2009 and is now ranked second best course you can play in the state of Washington by Golfweek and just made Golfweek’s Top 100 Modern list. John has also been the Head Professional at Pumpkin Ridge and Tam O’Shanter Country Club and First Assistant at Sahalee Country Club.

In his career John has been three-time Central Washington Chapter PGA Teacher of the Year, three-time Central Washington Chapter PGA Merchandiser of the Year, President Central Washington Chapter PGA, and Board of Director for the Pacific Northwest Section of the PGA.
